If you like your fillies with spunk, consider Twiggy. She is a grade QH type. We didn’t plan on taking Twiggy but when we got down there she was the one lying in muck with a fungal infection and urine burns all over her body. She had missing hair everywhere, and no hair at all on the front of her face. She probably wouldn’t have made it if she weren’t so spunky. Now when I say spunky, she’s not at all naughty, she just has this cute little twinkle in her eye. She’s a charmer.

Twiggy – new pics and new name for the filly formerly known as Baldie!
Twiggy is the youngest of the nurse mare foals and if you remember, she was an unplanned save, but when we saw her laying in the filth, very sickly and missing much of her hair, we knew we couldn’t leave her there. She is fully recovered and will be available for adoption when she hits her 6 month birthday late this fall.
